Maksym Nechaiev, the expert in the field of e-commerce. The Law «About the electronic commerce» — the protection and the guarantees for entrepreneurs and for consumers

«According to the forecasts, the volume of non-cash payments will grow essentially in Ukraine, meanwhile the trend towards the increase will be preserved», — Maksym Nechaiev, the Development Director of the LLC «UnIT»

Each second Ukrainian buys the goods and services on the Internet. According to the forecasts of the analysts, the volume of the non-cash payments will grow substantively in Ukraine, meanwhile the trend of growth will be preserved for no less than five more years. So much, the proportion of the non-cash settlements increased by 60% in 2015, compared to that of the year 2014, and it totaled more than $3 billion according to the data of NBU.  The analysts consider, that by the year 2016 the intromission of the Internet-trade in Ukraine will reach $5 billion. In the meantime, the actual size of the e-commerce market is much bigger in the leading European countries, which is explained by the legal settlement of the branch. For example, the volume of the Internet-commerce totals $118 billion in the Great Britain, which one of the pivotal participants of the e-commerce markets in the Western Europe; it totals $69.8 billion in Germany; and it totals $70.8 billion in France.

However, the forecasts of increase of the e-commerce market aren’t as optimistical, as they are in Ukraine. The reason for this, is that the e-commerce market began to develop comparatively recently, this niche hasn’t been occupied by the market players entirely yet, and another reason for this is an immense potential of entry into the European business grounds. The promising outlook of this business is determined by the increase of the consumer’s trust as well. At the moment, the non-cash settlements continue gathering momentum, becoming the most mainstream trend of settlements. It is related to the emergence of the new payment services, the refinement of the online-shopping, as well as to the adoption of the first Law «About the electronic commerce» in the history of Ukraine at the beginning of September.

The Information agency «Ukrinform» talked about the situation in the sphere of e-commerce and it’s perspectives to the expert of this field, the Development Director of the company «Universal information technology» Maksym Nechaiev.
