The pilot project «The pupil’s card» is initiated in two schools of the city of Kyiv from the beginning of the new school year 2015-2016. For now it is going to function in the municipal lyceums № 79 and 145. These cards – are gratuitous, the parents will be able to keep a check on the online-diary of the children with their help, for example. This is communicated by the Kyiv Municipal Administration.
Anna Starostenko, the Deputy Head of the Kyiv Municipal State Administration told the following: «It will become a comfortable device as for the pupils, so too for the parents. This card can be used by scholar for the settlements in the school’s dining-hall or the lunchroom, meanwhile his (her) parents will be enabled not only to control the pupil’s sojourn at school, but to keep tab on the marks in the online-diary». This card can also be used as a permit to the school. This is a test run, and if the project will be successful in the first half-year, it will be scaled up onto the other schools as well.
