The Ukrainian biometric foreign passport passed a test for the correspondence to the norms of ICAO successfully

An international testing chamber Secunet Security Networks AG confirmed a successful passage of the testing of the Ukrainian biometric passport for traveling abroad for the correspondence to the norms of the ICAO (The International association of civilian aviation). That’s what the issue is in the official report, which was delivered in care of the address of the State enterprise «Printing and Publishing Integrated Works «Ukraine» from the German specialists, according to the words of the press relations service of the State enterprise «Printing and Publishing Integrated Works «Ukraine».

Secunet Security Networks AG – is an independent testing chamber, accredited by the German Federal Administration on the Information Security (BSI), which develops the requirements for the safety of the ICAO documents. The certification of informational an programme products is conducted here by such world leaders of IT-technology, as Dell Inc., IBM Corporation, Microsoft Corporation, Samsung Electronics, NATO Programme Centre, Oracle Corporation and by host others.  Secunet Security Networks AG informs in it’s report: «The samples of the passport of Ukraine’s citizen for travelling abroad with the non-contact electronic storage item passed a successful testing for the correspondence to the norms of ICAO at the  level 1-4, according to the BSI Tr-03105, the part 2, the version 2.2 (01.12.2009) «The plan of testing of the machine-reading traffic documents, with the integrated protective non-contact microcircuit at the levels 1-4», as well as at the level 6-7, according to the BSI TR-03105, part 3.1, version 1.2 (19.07.2013) and AFNOR-BSI-TR-03105-3.2, version 1.3 (25.02.2013)».
