Ukraine could use the experience of Israel in building an innovative economy based on start-ups, through the development of technical professions and science of teaching children from an early age. Such an opinion was expressed by the Nobel Prize in Chemistry Dan Shechtman at a press conference in UNIAN.
According Shechtman, Israel has successfully functioning program to establish kindergartens with a scientific bias in which children are introduced to science in the age of five. Also, the Nobel laureate said that Israel operates more than 5,000 start-ups that have been opened thanks to the graduates of technical specialties.
According to the ambassador of Israel Eliava Belotserkovsky, who attended the press conference, Ukraine is in a difficult situation, and Israel is ready to support our country both financially and technically, and advisory.
Recall that according to the report “Global Report on the development of information technologies – 2015” compiled by the World Economic Forum (WEF), Ukraine ranked 71 th in the world in terms of information and communication technologies (ICT), having risen over the year by 10 positions compared to the previous year (in 2014 in the ranking of Ukraine took 81 th place). In the formation of the organization rating calculated Networked Readiness Index, which characterizes the level of ICT development in 143 countries.
