UNIT is the first Ukrainian company certified by the Common Criteria international standard

UNIT became the first Ukrainian company that passed certification according to Common Criteria –  the international standard of common criteria for assessing the security of information technologies.

The National Operating System developed by UNIT team has been successfully certified to meet the requirements of Common Methodology for IT Security Evaluation (CEM), Common Criteria for IT Security Evaluation (CC) with the EAL4 warranty type.

The operating system “National operating system” is used for issuance of biometric documents:  passport of a citizen of Ukraine (ID-card), passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad.

The process of certification of  «National operating system» was carried by the T-systems International GmbH (Germany), a world-renowned safety assessment laboratory.
